I'm interested in building a front mount dirt blade w/ hydraulic cylinder, and cannot find (from Kubota dealer) how to get one small item required. Here it is: a "hydraulic adapter cover". It installs on the left side of transmission (on hydraulic control valve) using 2 bolts which now hold a cover plate there. Behind the plate (on trans.) are 2 fluid ports (input/output). This adapter seems to be nothing more than a metal block having right-angle threaded holes for hyd. lines. Dealers advise it comes with attachments such as FEL or dirt blades. Any ideas? I think I could make one myself. Honered to be included in disscussion group.

I think this is the part number you're looking for. Of course there are other parts you'll need, like O-rings and bolts.

You can also download a comprehensive parts list here. It's a great resource for part numbers and assembly diagrams. Do a search in the LA181 loader PDF document for the part number in my previous post and you should be able to find assembly diagrams and associated part numbers. ....

What you are looking for is the hydraulic block adapter. The adapter allows external circuits to be added to the tractor hydraulics. Make sure you have a good diagram and an uderstanding of the hydraulic circuit you are going to add. The two holes on the adapter plate are for "power beyond" and "return". You need to make sure the circuit you add also has "power beyond" to run back to the return port on the block, and "exhaust" back to the reservoir. This will assure your pressure loop is complete in the tractor.
A good diagram is included in the FEL owners manual. Your blade hydraulics will be very similar to the FEL. I operate my blade with the FEL valve. ....

AVANCE,
Start at the home page for tractorsmart dot com. Under "PARTS", click on "Kubota B Series Parts". At the top of the next page click where it says "click here" to have parts info sent via email. Select B-series again, fill out the form and submit. The link will be sent to your email address of choice. It's a bit of a pain, but it works. Sometimes you can look at the URL and manually modify it to get the particular PDF file you're looking for, but I tried it for "B7100HST.PDF" with no luck. Hope this helps. ....

The parts that you are looking for normally are under the attachments not the tractor. So find the compatable attahments and your local dealer's parts department will be able to help you more. ....
